Apple’s new AirTag is a great way to keep track of your belongings, but using them can be confusing if you don’t know where to start.
We’re here to help.
In this article, we’ll show you how to pair the AirTag to your phone and how to use it. Plus, we’ll give you tips on getting the most out of your tags along the way.
What Can I Use Apple AirTags For?
Apple AirTags is the latest must-have accessory for your iPhone. Small and lightweight, it attaches easily to your keychain, bag, or even your pet’s collar.
So what does it do?
Well, AirTag uses the power of Bluetooth to help you keep track of your belongings. Using the “Find My” app, you can see the location of your AirTag-equipped items on a map. And if you happen to lose something, you can put it into “Lost Mode” and receive notifications when it’s found.
Here are some common ways of using Apple AirTags:
Find Your Keys
If you’re always misplacing your keys, an AirTag can help. Just attach the tag to your keychain and use the Find My app to keep track of it. You’ll never have to hunt for your keys again.
Find Your Wallet
Have you ever lost your wallet? It’s a horrible feeling. You know it’s around somewhere, but you just can’t find it. Typically, you would ask your family or friends if they’ve seen it, but sometimes they don’t remember either.
That’s where Apple AirTags comes in to help.
Just attach the AirTag to your wallet; if you ever lose it, you can use the Find My app to locate it.
Find Your Toddler
Maybe your little one likes to wander off or play hide-and-seek. Perhaps you’ve lost them once before in a crowded mall. AirTag can help you avoid that, especially if you know you’re headed to the airport or a hectic shopping plaza. The tag attaches to their clothes easily and doesn’t bother the little ones.
Find Your Pet
Losing a pet is a nightmare. You search high and low, call their name until you’re hoarse, and check all your usual spots, but they’re nowhere to be found. Eventually, you have to face the heartbreaking reality that they’re gone.
But what if there was a way to bring them back home?
With Apple’s new AirTag, there is. AirTag is a small, discrete tracker that can be attached to your pet’s collar. Using the Find My app, you can bring them back home safe and sound.
Find Your Kid’s Toys
Going on trips with your little ones can be adorable because they’re always exploring and finding new ways to analyse the world. Of course, you’ll have to take their favourite cuddly toy, water bottle, and maybe their blanky.
The real problem is losing that stuff.
Luckily, you can put an AirTag on all their belongings to keep track of everything while you’re out and about.
Find Your Luggage
Losing your luggage is one of the most frustrating experiences when travelling. But what if your bags could find you?
With Apple’s new AirTag technology, that’s precisely what will happen.
Simply attach an AirTag to your luggage, and if it ever gets lost, you can track it down using your iPhone. The AirTag will emit a signal that can be picked up by nearby iPhones, which will then display the bag’s location on a map.
And if your bag ends up in an unfamiliar place, you can even ask Siri for help finding it.
Find Your Remote
Let’s face it; we’ve all been there. You’re lounging on the couch, watching your favourite show, when you realise you can’t find the remote. You tear apart cushions, search under furniture, and empty every drawer, but it’s nowhere to be found.
Well, if you’re tired of losing your remote (or any other small item for that matter), then you need an Apple AirTags. The next time you can’t find your remote, simply open the Find My app on your iPhone and follow the AirTag’s signal to its whereabouts. And trust us; it’s a lot easier than tearing apart your entire house.
